Why do you volunteer for Grampian Hospital Radio?

Hospital radio isn’t just background noise. For patients who may be in pain, anxious, or lonely, hearing a friendly local voice can lift their whole day.
Being in hospital can feel isolating. A request show, a shout-out, or a familiar song can remind someone they’re not alone.
I also have made a lot of friends over the years at the station and it helped shape  my life.
